Validation systems under the European Commission framework
The X6-D2S validator stands out for its behavior and performance of high security, stood at the head for protection against fraud is concerned.
Its great reliability has been tested by the European Commission. In fact, it was the first validator of 3.5' that successfully passed the E.C. counterfeit detection tests in 2009. Each year it renews this certification in order to continue to ensure the highest level of security.
DSP range has the following security systems:
- Mechanism optical string-detector. The optical system is much more effective than the mechanic to prevent fraud with a currency with thread. The operation relies on a barrier of infrared light that passes through the validator.
- DSP digital technology that allows multiplying by 10 the number of parameters analyzed. The DSP range rejects any type of euro coin counterfeit known to date, taking a percentage for acceptance of valid currencies of 98% in the first attempt.
- Additional photodiode barrier it allows to determine more accurately the diameter of the coins.
It is a model designed specifically for those applications where the detection of counterfeits is a critical factor.
